Tehran.– Julio Alberto Hernandez Coste was named as Iran's baseball coach on Saturday. The Dominican coach will come to Tehran on Sunday to lead the team for the next three months.

The former Dominican Republic national team player is the first-ever foreign coach to lead Iran's baseball.

Iran is getting ready to participate in 2009 Asian Championship which will be held in  the Philippines.

Elevate the name DR with "above expectations" results! Help Iran finish in the top! Help them fall in love with Baseball! If you do, we may be known to export "Managers" and not just players!
