New York.– Five minor league players in the Dominican Summer League were suspended for 50 games on Thursday after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance.
Oakland pitchers Alexis Juma and Alex Nolasco, Los Angeles Angels pitcher Renedin Mesa, Philadelphia pitcher Joan Pascual and Phillies outfielder Jose Trinidad were penalized under baseball's minor league drug program.
Last year, 42 of 69 suspensions announced under the minor league program involved DSL players.

I remember the days when I was told that sports was the way to keep away from drugs. Now it seems it's the way towards them.
What a sad thing.
I blame lack of education cause by corruption.
