Cincinnati.– Former Dodgers Minor Leaguer pitcher Jonady Nunez received a 50-game suspension from Major League Baseball on Friday for testing positive for the performance-enhancing substance Stanozolol in violation of the minor league drug program.

Most recently, Nunez had been a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers' Dominican Summer League team. The suspension of Nunez will be effective immediately upon signing with another MLB organization.

Why are they singling out Dominicans.....blatant case of discrimination!

Why don't you go after big fish, instead?

He must be excused.

Screw the integrity of the game and everything else......who cares about a stupid game, anyway.

It sound's to me that the above posts condone artificial talent. The whole idea of the game is to determine who has the most natural talent and ability, Not to try to ingest or shoot up the most drugs.

Who's playing the game, the person or the drugs? Baseball is just as important to millions of fans the same as soccer is to soccer fans.

If all of the atheletes are going to cheat by using performance enhancing drugs then let's just create a new competition.
Let's declare the winner the one who shoots up a bigger dose than the next guy.

Better yet let's just abolish sports all together if no one is willing to play by the rules and society is backing thier bad behavior.
