Santo Domingo.- The Vicini Group on Wednesday announced the signature of an agreement with Dominican Olympic Committee (COD) to support an important group of local high performance athletes aimed at obtaining the country’s outstanding participation in international competitions.

The Vicini Group and the COD agree to join forces in the interest of promoting better conditions for the country’s athletes, and to motor actions to allow them to develop sportsmanship in each discipline.

Can't they spend their $ mechanizing the sugar industry? It would serve the country a whole lot better.

Do you know why sugar is not mechanized?

Because its not grown in the US, UK, Germany or any real develop country for that matter... even Brazilians have their Bateyes.
