Isla Margarita, Venezuela. - With an impressive outing by the pitcher Nelson Figueroa of Santo Domingo’s Leones del Escogido, Dominican Republic on Wednesday bags its second win in the 2010Caribbean Series, defeating Mexico’s Naranjeros of Hermosillo, 7-1.

Figueroa, who pitched a complete game, hurled his vicious fastball to hold the opposing batters for the Leones’ second win, while Hermosillo evens its record at 1-1.

The Dominican bats pounded Mexico’s pitcher Héctor Rodríguez early, and left after a four run first inning.
