Oh yea that's what I'm talking about, epic win 7 medals what a great achievement done by our teams. After they had some nasty moments in PR with there stay they still won.

Caffeinating the morning Blut? Jamaica will have his say after his English muffin. But, correct me if I'm wrong, PR has some 7 or 8 Gold metal hopefuls in Boxing? Puerto Rico is odds on favorite for the Gold in Men's Volleyball and Basketball. And I think we only have 1 more Gold metal than PR. If tied in Gold metals PR has us because of the Silver metal advantage. Nevertheless, a very good showing by our boys and girls in Mayaguez!

Congratulations!

Here is a great idea how about sending this exact same team to the World Baseball Classic instead of the MLB All-star team that has become useless when needed.

Belly, the issues regarding the All-Stars is conditioning and playing time. If they had a two month period to adjust, or if the tournament were held mid-season-why not replace the All-Star game and have a one week tourney with the top 4 teams playing three games to determine the Championship? Or 8 teams in knockout games?, the results would be better for our squad.

As I suspected, Puerto Rico has pulled ahead, 34 versus 29 Gold metals, and today could put the DR too far back to make up the gold metal count with 6 gold metal opportunities in Boxing, the Gold metal game in Volleyball versus a strong team from Venezuela. Still, our team has improved and this should give us hope that in future, our team will gain better results.
