LOUISVILLE, Ky.- “How pretty the sound! Even though I scored 30 points in the first game and will continue playing in each encounter, I never want to be given the title of protagonist or hero of the game. The hero will be Dominican Republic every day, since nobody should be protagonist here," said Francisco Garcia to fired up Dominican team, quoted by news source hoy.com.do
The pros and the Dominicans were at it again Tuesday night, wrapping up a two-game exhibition in Louisville, with the visitors posrintg a 91-86 win.
On Monday night, the teams were in Lexington, and sold out Rupp Arena's 24,000 seats which was also a sea of blue in the University of Louisville's home, the KFC Yum Center, all for exhibition basketball, Louisville news source Wlky.com reports.
UK basketball head coach John Calipari organized the games trying to help the Dominicans make the Olympics for the first time in 2012 at the summer games in London.
On Monday night, the Dominicans won decisively over the NBA stars, who were undermanned.

There is a good reason for this. According to Kyle Tucker's report in the Louisville Courier-Journal, the Dominican team played sharp, focused basketball, while the UK side "treated the event like an all-star game, trying to throw down crowd-pleasing dunks, shooting at will and playing half-hearted defense."
They still have a llllllllllllooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg way to go
Didn't anyone here attend journalism school where you're supposed to include: where, when, why, who, and what, when writing about anything? Coñooooo!!!! Que ostia!
Second game was played last night, here in Louisville and as the Editor said, the final score was 91-86, Dominican Rep.
Even though I live in Louisville, I am a KY fan, but it was very exciting to see the Dominican team win. They were very cohesive in spite of facing NBA players
