Santo Domingo.- Santiago’s Aguilas needed one win to force an extra game against Santo Domingo’s Licey Tigers and stay alive for the Dominican Winter Baseball Chmpionship Series… and in fact they got it Wednesday night.

Brandon Moss’ and Yoenis Cespedes’ homers blasted the Aguilas past the Cibao Giants 7-1 in the last regular game of the semifinal series, dubbed the BHD Cup.

Moss homered in the third inning , while Cespedes did so in the sixth, leading the Aguilas to their fifth straight victory, forcing today’s tiebreaker in Santiago’s Cibao Stadium.
