Santo Domingo.- With each win the Leones of Santo Domingo inch closer to their 14th Dominican Winter Baseball title, and last night’s 3 to 0 victory over the Aguilas of Santiago in Quisqueya Stadium boosted the home crowd.

The Leones’ three run rally in the bottom of the eighth erased a shutout by Santiago’s team, and now lead 3 games to none in the best of 7 championship.

Dude gave the game away... In baseball your pitchers can give the game away This is why I like basketball.

@xwill7

In baseball you could at least you could blame two people (the pitcher and the manager). In basketball, I have seen 15 point leads disappear in less than 5 minutes or so left to play... total breakdown by the team.

Baseball is also a very mental game, especially for the manager, it is like moving chess pieces... and the best thing is that it is that the game is never over till the last out, so you can't work out the clock.

Aguilas Redeem yourselves.. they still have to win a game!

If there is a team that could come back from an 0-3 hole, it is you!

Arriba las Aguilas!

Don't get me wrong, I love basketball, but I love baseball even more, because anything could happen.
