SANTIAGO.- Lorenzo Barceló, Santiago’s Aguilas’ "iron horse" was more than what the Leones of Santo Domingo could take Tuesday night, when he concocted a serving of curves, sliders, changes, and his customary breaking pitches,
Barceló threw eight shutout innings with barely three hits, leading the Aguilas "toward the lights" and a 1 to nothing squeaker.
It’s the first win by the Santiago team in the Dominican Winter Baseball Championship, giving their fans a long awaited breather at the Cibao Stadium, by placing the series at 3 games for the Leones, to 1 for the Aguilas.
