Santo Domingo.– David Ortiz is unhurt after a minor car accident involving another motorist on his way to Boston's Fenway Park Friday night and admitted it was his fault, several papers are reporting today.

According to Boston police spokesman David Estrada, there were no injuries and only minor vehicle damage was reported. The Red Sox also confirmed Big Papi was unhurt.

Ortiz said it over-revved his Audi R8's engine and caused him to lose control, spinning several times on the street. He sideswiped a female motorist, who was stopped at the intersection's traffic light.

And will he be charged???

This I do not get. We are worried about Big Pappi who acted irresponsibly and give 2 craps about the innocent women he hit?

Sounds like David has not lost his Dominican driving attitude.

I have a size 13 foot and have never "over-revved" an engine and that caused me to lose control, spinning several times on the street.

I can do donuts on que and can drift better than anyone on this website but never have lost control of a car on a city street like that.
Even better I am sure that his Audi is an automatic.
