Santo Domingo.- Interest grows across the country to see the powerhouse women’s national volleyball team which will play locally for the first time since the Pan-American Cup 2005.

The press conference Tuesday served to introduce the women who’ll represent the country in the World Grand Prix, and the most successful team in the history of the national sport.

“They are professionals in the sport and professionals in their conduct. They ask for this team in all countries and have always been there, providing results for the country,” said Dominican Olympic Committee president Luisín Mejía.
