Santo Domingo.- The Dominican women’s volleyball team, at the highest point in its history, will start its quest to win at least at home during the first leg of the World Grand Prix, played from today until Sunday.

The team coached by Mark Kwiek will faceoff with Taiwan at 7:30pm, after the game pitting the favorite United States, against Germany.

"One thing’s for sure is that we play with our hearts to do well and stage a good volleyball show," said Kwiek during yesterday’s presentation of the coaches from the four countries which will compete in the event.

The only winning teams of the Dominican Republic - the women. Show the men again, how it's done. I think it's called teamwork.
