London.- The coach for Dominican Republic’s women volleyball team said Friday they will approach every match in the Olympic Games "as a final."
Marcos Kwiek said their goal is to qualify for the second round, for which they’d have to finish among the top four in Group A.
In its second appearance at the Olympics, Dominican Republic volleyball is part of the group with Japan, Russia, Algeria, United Kingdom and Italy, the world’s fourth-best team and tomorrow’s rival. "It will be a very difficult game, I think that Italy will place for medals."
