Santo Domingo.- More than 100 local and foreign speedsters will get on the track after the pole position in four categories, during the classifier slated for Saturday afternoon, as part of the National Auto Championship, Michelin Grand Prix’s 4th points round, to be staged in the Mobil 1 Speedway on Sunday.

Throughout the week drivers of the various teams have been pushing the pedal hard and their cars to the limit, preparing for the weekend’s grand challenge.

In the Dominican Touring Series (DTS), the championship’s top category, two-time champion Gustavo, Kiko, Cabrera and Santiago teammate Harold Robles, and pit crew made several fine-tunings in the new engine that will power their BMW in Sunday’s event.
