Santo Domingo.- The Leones of Santo Domingo, with the game tied at two in the 11th inning, seized on a costly error by Miguel Tejada, to leave Santiago’s Aguilas on the diamond with a 3 to 2 win at Quisqueya Stadium.

The win puts the Leones del Escogido with a four-games-to-zero advantage in the final Winter Baseball Series and the champions crown for the second consecutive year.

The win also forces the Aguilas into "sudden death," by having to win all of the remaining five games.
