Medina names Dominican tennis champ Goodwill Ambassador

SD. President Danilo Medina on Wednesday designated Dominican tennis champion Victor Estrella Goodwill Ambassador, for his victory at the Ecuador Open on Sunday, when he won the first title of his career in the Professional Tennis Association circuit.

Medina met with Estrella in the National Palace, where they spoke about his experience and what the win means for the Dominican Republic.

The Presidency website reports that the player gave Medina the racket with which he won the Ecuador Open, who in turn expressed satisfaction for the victory.
