Florida Panthers to host hockey clinic in Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo.– The Florida Panthers announced that theyhave partnered with JetBlue and the Dominican Republic to visit Santo Domingoas part of the club’s youth hockey and community outreach initiatives.

According to panthers.nhl.com, Florida Panthers forwardVincent Trocheck, Cats alumni and Television Analyst Randy Moller, Stanley C.Panther and Panthers staff members will all take part in the team’s communityoutreach event, to be held from Sept. 8-10.

The Panthers will visit sick patients at CURE Hospital onWednesday, Sept. 9 and host a youth street hockey clinic at King’s School for75-100 students. “We are thrilled to partner with JetBlue in this uniqueopportunity to bring hockey to the Dominican Republic,” said Panthers VicePresident of Corporate Partnerships Greg Rieber.

“The Panthers and JetBlue’s previous outreach initiatives inthe Bahamas and Puerto Rico have been great successes. We look forward tocontinuing our community efforts and making a positive impact in Santo Domingo,”Rieber added.
