New York.- AlexRodriguez on Tuesday slammed his 30th home run for the 15th season, tyingthe major league record set by the great Hank Aaron, AP reports.

The New York Yankeesslugger hit his 684th lifetime homer in the sixth inning in the gameagainst the Baltimore Orioles, which won 2 to 1.

A-Rod, 40, hadn’t reachedthe figure of 30 homers since 2010 and missed the last season while undersuspension for doping.

Rodriguez trails BabeRuth (714), Aaron (755) and Barry Bonds (762).
