Despite sweep Boston fans give Big Pappy a heartfelt ‘Adios’

Boston.- No one was prepared for the Boston RedSox to suffer a sweep and elimination at the American League Division Playoffs at the hands of the Cleveland Indians, but fansdid rejoice with a last and deserved farewell to Dominican slugger David Ortiz,at the end of his brilliant career, EFE reports.

In Big Pappy’s last game the last ball endedup in the glove of Indians right fielder Lonnie Chisenhall, and a4-3 win in thethird game of the swept series, as silence gripped the 40,000 fans at FenwayPark, as the Cleveland players celebrated a big win.
