US Ambassador’s Cup crowns the Contreras as top winners

La Romana, Dominican Republic.- Jose Tomas Contreras andJose Juan Contreras were the top winners of the gross first place with 65strokes in the 17th annual Charles T. Manatt Memorial Ambassador’sCup, hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAMDR).

The 120 participants set out at 8:30am to compete in a tournamentmarked by good weather, good humor and rivalry among players who in addition toa good time, sought to lead at the final hole.

In the awards ceremony, AMCHAMDR vice president WilliamMalamud thanked "everyone who so eagerly and with a good game have foughtto win our cup, with which we honor the memory of Ambassador Charles T. Manatt.
