SANTO DOMINGO-The Dominican Telecommunications Institute (Indotel) said Thursday it will inaugurate 50 new informatics training centers (CCI) in towns and villages around the country.
Indotel president Jose Rafael Vargas said the ribbon-cuttings will resume on the 22nd this month, with the opening of three digital salons, in the San Lorenzo child care center, in the Los Mina sector, and in the barrios Villa Duarte and Gualey, Santo Domingo province (south).
Tropical Storm Noel interrupted Indotel’s program to inaugurate 653 informatics centers in the entire country this year.
