Santo Domingo.- Indotel Executive director Jose Alfredo Rizek said any legal or extra legal barrier in telecommunications should be eliminated and noted that regulation of the services regime should be modified to a general regulation to offer those services with a focus on competition.

Rizek spoke in the conference "The regulator in an Convergence atmosphere" at the XI Telecommunications Summit operators and regulators, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
