SANTO DOMINGO. – More than 2,100 youngsters from the country’s 32 provinces will participate in the second stage of the “Technological Entrepreneurial Youth Training Program” (JUVENTEC), of the Dominican Telecom Institute (Indotel) in alliance with the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA) and the Technical Professional Training Institute (INFOTEP).
Indotel president Jose Rafael Vargas provided the information and announced that the JUVENTEC program will grant scholarships to more than 10,000 youngsters of low income families nationwide for on-line diplomas, courses and workshops, at an estimated cost of RD$15.9 million during the next 24 months.
