Santo Domingo. – The health risk administrator ARS Humano and the stem cells harvesting company Stem Cell Group signed an agreement to provide its affiliates the possibility of preserving, at preferential fees, important biological information for the future treatment of complex diseases.

The presidents of ARS Humano Eduardo A. Cruz, and of Stem Cell, Juan Carlos Rodriguez signed the agreement, in the presence of executives of both institutions, among them ARS Strategic Planning and Marketing director Diomares Musa, Product Manager Cynthia Rivera, Stem Cell Finance director Carlos Rodriguez, and Stem Cell Sales representative Mónica Taveras.

During the event Cruz stressed the agreement’s importance because “it puts within our affiliates’ reach the possibility of safeguarding their health and of their descendants by preserving the mothers cells, in this manner securing the possibility of surviving a catastrophic disease.”

Whereas Stem Cell’s Juan Carlos Rodriguez noted the leading edge advances in those types of research. “This alliance gives affiliates the current vanguard technology available and the convenience of having immediate access to the harvesting of stem cells through Stem Cell Group, a company pioneer in Dominican Republic in the obtaining stems cells from the umbilical cord and from the pulp of baby and permanent teeth and molars as well.”
