Santo Domingo.- Twitter social network users on Thursday reported access and account problems, while the Web company confirmed the outage.

Twitter\s web service status on Thursday said it stopped working for nearly all users worldwide, with reports of access difficulties in several continents. "Users may be experiencing problems accessing Twitter. Our engineers are working to resolve this problem."

Twitter’s applications such as web version aren’t working either, with no response and disconnected APIs.

And though the server says "the problem was resolved and all services are operating,” service in the country has yet to be fully restored.

Twitter reported flaws in the services June 21 but didn’t specify its severity, the damage or the number of users affected.
