Chicago.– The mother and brother of Jennifer Hudson
were found shot dead Friday at a South Side home, and police were
looking for a missing child who is the nephew of the singer and
Oscar-winning actress.
A man suspected
in the deaths was in custody Friday night, but the 7-year-old boy had
not been located, according to published reports.
William Balfour was being questioned, but Julian King's whereabouts were not known, law enforcement sources told the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times. Balfour has not been charged. Police
spokeswoman Monique Bond said investigators were talking to "a number
of people in custody" but she declined to elaborate.
An Amber Alert
issued Friday said Balfour was a suspect in the double homicide of
Darnell Donerson, 57, and Jason Hudson, 29, whose bodies were found
Friday afternoon in a South Side home.
Jennifer Hudson's personal publicist, Lisa Kasteler, confirmed the deaths.

Chicago is what Detroit used to be in the late 70's early 80's I would have expected her to move her family to a different area once she started making good money, my heart goes to her and the rest of her family.

Anthony, I have always suspected that you were not the brightest bulb, you have just proven me right....I can see russia from my window now, that make me an expert in international affairs.
I thought you would have had the descency to condemn at least the present Mayor Richard M. Daley. Blaming Obama is really stretching it a la republicain, guilt by association now guilt by representation or by states... where do you draw the line ?.

tonyj it is difficult to compare Detroit and Chicago....their size alone is considerably different and there economies also are very different in size....it is not for nothing Chicago is known as The Second City

Obama was the State Senator for the worst District of Chicago. All he did during his tennure was pad the wallets of his cronies instead of addressing the Issue of Crime.
As the elected senator from Chicago he was dutybound to address the problems of his constituents.
He failed.......Miserably
From: United States, Reality Check
The Chicago Chief of Police report directly to Mayor Daly (not Senator Obama). The mayor gives marching orders, crime prevention, funding to the Police Chief (not a State or US Senator). Thus, AC above statements seem un-intelliegent!
I know the election is approaching and Americans are making their decision in favor of Obama and the spread margin is growing against McLame. And since you are going to lose ...at least lose with some dignity and class.
This election is the decision of the people (as Hillary found out). And in the end, she pulled herself together to give up with class and dignity despite being a sore loser early on.
The country (& world) is in bad shape and on the verge of a worldwide depression if we do NOT "get it together". I used to think that Obama would raise my taxes listening to McLame, until I check with the Tax Policy Council and found out that I would get a refund 3 times bigger with Obama.
