SANTO DOMINGO.- Dolphin Island Park is holding the contest “Name the baby dolphin,” to celebrate the birth of the first dolphin in its facilities on August 2007.

The theme park, located in Dominican Republic’s Bavaro-Punta Cana region, said the contest is an initiative which aims to get students to learn about and love those animals.

Dolphin Island director Miguel Moreno said La Altagracia province public and private school students from 7 to 13 years of age can take part, and the winner gets a computer with its accessories, and a visit to the dolphin, whose parents are named Vicky and Caín.
