Santo Domingo.– Dominican bachata group Aventura performed last night at the Estadio Quisqueya as part of their "World Tour Coranzoncito".

Grupo Aventura was founded in New York in 1999, due to the fact that all of its members were born in the Bronx. However, their first works were accomplished in Boston, explained in the fact that there is a wide dominican community there.

Their lyrics do not fall into the typical spite and bitter of the bachata songs, the forsaken characters, the infidelity and such, and yet, on the other hand, they cleverly embraced the North American influence into their style, and also took advantage of its language.

I think I've had about enough bachata as I can take in one lifetime. I love my people. But I never fail to notice that when they jump on a horse they ride it into the ground. They have worn out the music by overplaying it.

you people are so negative about everything. they came the d.r for a concert, entertainment, to show people a good time, thats all. the d.r. make and export more cigar then any other country. they reap the money then they should be able to take the pain. and if you live there it benefits you that they come there for others to spend money. and if you feel like they promote cigars it benefits you because it keeps jobs in the d.r. keeping the same people who work making, growing tabacco won't rob you like so many others unemployed there do.(and those with jobs, lawyers, ect).
