New York.- An intersection of Columbus Avenue between 94th and 95th streets in Manhattan will be named after prominent Dominican musician Mario A. Rivera, a music maestro who played 24 instruments during his career.

Rivera, a virtuoso of the saxophone, died on August 10, 2007 victim of terminal cancer.
