Santo Domingo.– Dominican singer and songwriter Janio Lora opened "Live from the Center" last night in the Colonial Zone, a three-day musical event sponsored by the Spanish Cultural Center.
The concerts include performers from Spain, Haiti, Peru and the Dominican Republic. Besides Janio Lora, the audience also enjoyed the performance of Javier Celado. For Saturday 23 modern jazz will be on stage through a fusion of Caribbean and Afro Peruvian styles with Ania Paz, a Peruvian songwriter now living in Santo Domingo.
