Santo Domingo.- President Leonel Fernandez and the First lady Margarita Cedeño headed the ceremony on Thursday to bestow the Order of Duarte, Sanchez and Mella on television producer and entertainer Freddy Beras Goico, for his career in the media and his promotion of family values.

The chief executive headed the activity of distinction in the National Palace’s salon of Ambassadors, where officials, media owners and directors, the humorist’s wife Pilar Mejía and friends and relatives attended.
