Santo Domingo. – Latin American Idol Martha Heredia’s reception in the National Palace Monday afternoon was as it should, for a star.

“Here in this salon of the National Palace we have received many celebrities and international guests of the arts, sports and the politics, we’ve never seen as much joy as what we’re seeing with Martha’s victory. The National Palace dresses its better finery, I ask because a applause for Martha”… were president Leonel Fernandez’s first words to welcome her, in the company of the First lady Margarita Cedeño.

If you think that this was a big reception, you should have seen the reception for the Claro employee who realized that we are such big suckers that we would spend millions for the 21RD (plus tax) text messages to vote. I must have received at least 10 messages imploring me to vote for my fellow countrywoman.
