Santo Domingo. - The Santo Domingo Musical Festival’s closing night marked the debut of the French mezzo-soprano Sophie Koch, who performed the compositions of Richard Wagner based on poems of Matilde Wesendonck.

In the night dedicated to the sponsors Platinum of the Festival, Brugal & Company, a minute of silence was observed to honor George Arzeno Brugal, who contributed to stage this edition of the Musical Festival.
