Santo Domingo.– The
National Theater will be presenting the World Gala of Dance on 3 and 4
July as a benefit for the Fundacion Nido para Angeles, which works
with children with brain paralysis.
In addition to performances by first ballerinas Michelle Jimenez
and Jan Zerer of the Dutch Ballet, other acclaimed dancers will be on stage, such as dancers from the Munich Ballet as well as Brazilian dancer, Vitor Luiz.
One of the main attractions will be the performance of Lorena Feijoo, a former prima ballerina of the Cuban National Ballet, now performing with the San Francisco Ballet.
