Santo Domingo.– The huge success of the Dominican version of Hairspray has made the musical to be back on stage tonight, Saturday 27, at the National Theater

The play is a Nuryn Sanlley production based on the John Waters film, with performances by Laura Leclerc and Irving Alberti, Kenny Grullon, Frank Ceara, Cuquin Victoria, Claudia Sierra, Robmariel Olea in the starring roles.

Hairspray had won eight Tony Awards, a Grammy and was on stage for seven years at the Neil Simon Theater in Broadway.
