Santo Domingo.- The Palace of Fine Arts is holding a three-day gala with the National Folklore Ballet this weekend which features the Queen of Merengue Milly Quezada and 150 Dominican folklore artists.

The show, called "Dominican Passion" by Josefina Miniño, director of the National Folklore Ballet, includes popular Domincan songs and dances.

Liliana Soto is in charge of scenography, whereas Gaby Malagon and Anita Bencosme are in charge of costumes; the illumination is by Roberto Leon.

Long live the Dominican culture!!! Merengue, bachata, beisbol, spanish language, folklore, catholicism (the realist one)!
