Santiago.– Some of the better known Dominican merengue performers will take the stage for a free-admission mega concert in the sorroundings of Santiago de los Caballeros´ Monument Saturday 29 and Sunday 30, August, starting at 2pm.

The concerts are part of the Verano Presidente program, promoted by Presidente Beer and Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana (CND). Saturday 29 performers include Fernando Villalona, El Jeffrey, Omega, Rubby Perez, Tito Swing, Julian Oro Duro, Michelle, Silvio Mora, Kerubanda, Kiko el Presidente, Pochy Familia and SexAppeal.

Johnny Ventura, Eddy Herrera, Sergio Vargas, El Torito, Arcangel and El Prodigio will be on stage on Sunday.

that's going to be over crowded but good... hope the guys selling hot beers in the portable coolers have them cold that night. And I hope the guys posing like they are selling roses but in fact they are selling drugs stay the heck out!

Why didn't I think of that? You never hear merengue in the D.R.
