New Jersey.– Perth Amboy Gallery Center for the Arts in collaboration with the Alliance of Dominican American Visual Artists, is presenting the exhibition "The Alliance of Dominican American Visual Artists in Perth Amboy," taking place from January 12 to February 28, 2010.

The exhibit includes a series of paintings, drawings, digital art and mixed media artworks by Dominican artists Jose Luis Decena, Felix Diclo, Ezequiel Jimenez, Luis Martinez, Chiqui Mendoza, Jose "Artie" Parra, Robert Paulino, Teresa Pelaez, Frank Polanco, David Ulloa and Henry Vargas, among others.

A closing reception with the artists is on schedule for Saturday, February 27, 2010, 2:00-6:00 p.m.

of all the arts I think that the DR excels in paintings in superb colours often with much emotion ..and this is saying something because Dominican music is also great ..the subjects in the paintings are often very original and I wish that I had the money to buy the good ones ..This should be a great exhibition .
