Santo Domingo.– Pilots from the United States, United Kingdom, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Chile,
among other countries, will participate in the
Second Radio Controlled Aircraft Cup to be held in the Dominican Republic on 29, 30,
and 31 January.
According to the organizers, the competition will feature the world's most distinguished radio controlled pilots performing the ultiamte scale stunts which will amuse the audience with 100% extreme action.
The Hobbyland flying field is located at a 20-minute driving distance from Santo Domingo at the Grupo Alonzo's site. Among the existing amenities there are a fully asphalt runway measuring 300.00 x 12.00 mts., a platform for taxiways and fly-boxes, a helipad facility, 2 covered hangars with over 200.00 mt2 of open space and a 2-story clubhouse with “mirador” facilities for those who wish to relax while enjoying the view.

If this is true, it will be incredibly cool. I always attend the one in Atlantic City and its amazing. I have never seen the drones at the AC one though.
