Jarabacoa.- According to the company Mevenssa Jarabacoa has 19 lodging centers with more than 600 rooms capable of housing 1,400 visitors per night, about 2,000 cabins for rent and 10 real estate companies.
Among the logdgings are the hotels Montaña, Gran Jimenoa, Brisas de los Alpes, Pinar Dorado, Las Guazaras and Brisas del Yaque; the ranches Baiguate River Club, Jarabacoa and Dos Ríos, and the Villas Turísticas del Bosque with Gisselle Típico Turist Bar and the restaurant Parque Galería.
Clodomiro Hernandez, of Mevenssa and member of the Jarabacoa ecotourism Cluster said accommodation vary from 3-star establishments to cabins “integrated to ecology."
Among the sports Jarabacoa features are rapid-rafting and rappelling, paraglider flying, mountain climbing, off-road vehicles, and swimming and golf at the Jarabacoa Golf Club.
Jarabacoa is also known for the national and international breeding, training and riding of paso fino horses, with more than 45 stalls with about 5 employees each.
It also has as many as 800 fine horses for the tourists to ride on trails and in the woods.

There is a small colmado in the entrance of town run by two sisters and their mom, they have the best cold "Presidente" and the two twenty some year old girls are real pretty and friendly.
