Santo Domingo.– Following success at Paradisus Punta Cana, Paradisus Palma Real in the Dominican Republic is launching the Reserve, a private, self-contained sanctuary set apart from the main guest suites.

Reserve guests have access to features such as exclusive pools, lounging, dining facilities, and separate VIP check-in and check-out.

The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real features eight buildings with 190 luxury suites, including new swim-up suites located at the swimming pool's edge, an adult pool accessed solely by Reserve guests, a kiddie pool located next to the Kid's Zone, a full-service gym including spin and yoga studios, and private poolside cabanas.

The Reserve's four satellite concierge desks are stationed evenly among the eight buildings.

these pro tourism things are whistling in the graveyard ....The DR has 60 thousand hotel rooms to fill on the entire Island and travel and tourism is hurting....to put that in perspective there is a little city in Nevada called Las Vegas that will soon open its 150 thousandth room in one town....talk about competition....then there is that quaint little town Orlando with about 100 thousand plus rooms thrown into the mix as well....go figure...and they are not going to put those cruise ships in mothballs either.....this government is not telling the truth about economic stability in 2009....the decrease in percentage will continue and price cutting will become very brutal....the operators will need relief ...and devaluation will rear its ugly head once more

I had the privilege of staying at this hotel in 2007 and I must say, that it is an excellent property in the Punta Cana area that (I believe) sets itself apart from the other "all-inclusives" in terms of service.

Ny hunk you are correct it is the new direction the DR was moving in until this current economic disaster has set us back....I hope not to the rubber chicken eat and drink till you puke all inclusive ....But that is what our tourisms backbone is founded on and it is nothing to be ashamed of even though I joke about it

"Wynn, 63 and nearly blind due to an eye disease, sat grinning, surrounded by handlers in dark suits. His wife Elaine, in a white gown and weighty jewel earrings, stood behind him."
