Dubai - The Trump Organization, one of the world's leading property developers, launched the sales of penthouses in the Trump Soho Hotel Condominium New York exclusively in the UAE.

The Trump SoHo Hotel Condominium project started sales in September last year and this exclusive property is the only luxury hotel condominium in Manhattan's fashionable SoHo neighbourhood. It is an ideal solution for international buyers who live away from New York but want a familiar place to stay when there. The hotel is due to open next summer.

Donald J. Trump, CEO of the Trump Organization, highlighted the honor of launching last week the Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai, currently being built on Palm Jumeirah. "With The Trump Organization's continued growth throughout the Middle East, we thought it was only fitting to bring sales of our unique Trump SoHo penthouses to the UAE. Our penthouses are the most desirable places to stay in New York City, and will provide one of the most luxurious hotel experiences available anywhere in the world."

"There is a great desire among sophisticated Arabic buyers to invest in Manhattan. As they have already a strong participation in the real estate markets of London and other capitals in Europe, they want to consolidate their presence around the world by incorporating New York to their portfolio," Prodigy International's president Rodrigo Niño stated.

Of the 400 hotel condominium units, there will be 141 deluxe suites, 253 studio suites, five penthouse suites and one Presidential Suite. Some studios and deluxe suites can be combined to create luxurious two bedroom suites. Units will range in size from approximately 422 to 905 square feet with expansive penthouses and the Presidential Suite on the three highest floors. Owners will be able to choose from a range of panoramic views including the Hudson River, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and the Manhattan skyline.

Leading global real estate firm, Prodigy International, is the exclusive sales and marketing organization for Trump SoHo Hotel Condominium. It an impressive track record of driving sophisticated international buyers to the most exclusive properties in New York, Miami, Dominican Republic, Panama, Mexico and Costa Rica, through a global network of brokers from locations around the world.

Dubai is a tasteless **** hole in the middle of a desert.
The rich live in gated communities or penthouses whilst the poor get pissed on from a great height.
Sound familiar?

Duane,

I think your take on Dubai is right now. I was there late last year, and behind the amazing developments, things were SOOOOO freaky. Didn't see any poor people on the streets, everything so oooo clean. But when I asked my friend about the migrant workers (Pakistanis & Malaysians) they said they "lived" in "gated" communities, had no rights to protest unfair conditions, and were simply a commodity that could be done away with, if they demanded better working conditions.

Sounds great, no?

DR does have the gated communities and greedy wealthy, as do many places.
However DR and Santo Domingo in particular have a fantastic history, a welcoming atmosphere. The country geographically has to be one of the Worlds most beautiful.
Dubai in contrast has no history or culture, feels un-welcoming and sits upon a dull desert.

As for that collection of islands some maniac is building in the shape of a World, that has to be the epitome of that old saying 'Wealth cannot purchase good taste'. Disgusting.

well Duane, you cannot account for lack of taste. Dubai, from all accounts i have received from friends who have visited, is the toilet bowl of the earth. cheesy glitz and glamor, and all perfectly mindless!!

And Donald Trump - Who could invest in a man with hair like that?
Is it a separate entity?
