Santo Domingo.– Ferry del Caribe will have its own terminal at the Sans Souci tourist port, said Ernesto Gonzalez, president of the company.
Gonzalez thanked President Leonel Fernandez for providing an area for the ferry through decree 193-07.
The construction could begin in August and has
an estimated cost of US$10 million. The
Ferry, in operation for 20
years, sails between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

thank goodness they did not have to move to Boca Chica.....these guys should really sharpen their pencil and come up with packages to and from San Juan.....Plus San Juan international airport

There should be more ferries (local investment preferred) to new destinations. I would like a ferry that connects Santo Domingo and Cuba.
