JUAN DOLIO, Dominican Republic. - During the groundbreaking for the Costa del Sol II resort project in San Pedro province (east), the president of the Group Metro Luis Jose Asílis described president Leonel Fernandez as the provider of Dominican Republic’s current confidence and legal security.
“We’re thankful for providing the confidence and legal security that the country enjoys at the moment,” the executive said and noted that real estate tourism sales haven’t fallen. He affirmed that the country’s future is in the development of that sector and hotels.
Asilis said Costa del Sol II, to be built at a cost of 10 million dollars, has 47 condos, whose owners will get a membership to the Metro Country Club and access to the comforts of Embassy Suites, and to the 126 suites at Los Marlyns. “It’ll have the first PGA Golf course in the country,” which Asilis said will be designed by golf great Norman.
Also avaiblable is a spa, swimming pool, gourmet restaurant, as well as convention center for more than 500 people.

"El proyecto, que se ejecutará con una inversión de US$500 millones, proporcionará al país el primer campo de golf PGA, diseñado por el golfista profesional Greg Norman y una marina que podrá albergar más de 200 lanchas, además de un club de playa, canchas de tenis, un centro de conferencias y tiendas."
