Santo Domingo.- American Airlines, founding partner of the global alliance Oneworld, will inaugurate an additional flight from Santo Domingo to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, with a Boeing 777 starting December 20  .

The jet can carry 262 passengers in three classes, and has a reach of 9,695 to 17,500 kilometers.

American Airlines Dominican Republic director Oliver Bojos said the carrier’s commitment is to meet its passengers’ travel needs with greater convenience and options. “American Airlines, firm in its commitment to serve Dominicans, has decided to increase a flight frequency to supply the needs of our customers at Christmas time between Dominican Republic and New York

“We are sure that this additional flight will be very attractive, because of the use of a Boeing 777, the best airplane in American ‘s fleet,” said Bojos, adding that the Boeing 777 will be used permanently in the SDQ-JFK-SDQ route on Saturdays.

This will make the connection with Europe easier. AA doesn't have too many modern airplanes and the 777 is the best of the bunch!

planes are safe for 20+ years with the proper repairs. Many of the companies that have newer planes are newer companies. Also, AA does have newer planes they just have so many that the average goes down

One extra`flight a week is better than none but the reduction in flights earlier on has meant that it is very rare to find an empty seat on AA from NY to SD .

Xwill,

abc should probably be strapped to the nose cone of an Airbus 380, and flown back to his beloved Europe........maybe a quick brain freeze up would bring him to his senses.

they will need to get the illegals out, fix the power first, and reduce the crime rate.

illegals apart from Americans are no problem. No-one worries about the power - tis norm - what do you need power for? Crime rate has dramatically been reduced in tourist areas.
Yes, I'm really tearful for those that have their 25,000 dollar gold Cartier watches liberated!

I really don't see a difference between social democrats and thieves. One steals stealthily; the other by decrees and taxation, invoking "Robin Hood" doctrine. Still both are thieves!

Danny,

I've seen ample proof you are a true Dominican: work all year and save money to go blow it in DR dancing bachata and drinking Brugal or Bermudez.....just wish I could do same, but college payments make it very tough!

Need to fine a cheaper college - Moscow has an excellent reputation..... Knowing your family they could train with the Moscow state circus.
Or get kicked out/leave e.g. Richard Branson, Bill Gates.

Then you can enjoy yourself in the DR.........

abc,

I am sure there are others here but, over the eleven months or so I've participated in this forum, I've observed that you stand alone as the only contributor incapable of carrying out a sensible and intelligible evolving dialogue with anyone.

You've exhibited an unequivocal predilection for the absurd and bizarre. You continually extol virtues of obscure and meaningless rulers; you barrage us with useless links to obscure sites that no one else would ever discover or care to.

You present us with an interesting dichotomy. On the one side, I believe you've gone far off the deep end and are likely insane; on the other side, you've occasionally have displayed some eloquence in your writing, but only to immediately revert to your usual, non-conformist and bizarre ways.

Man, you are an enigma.

Since when was the MSC bizarre? at least compared with the goings on in Amerika! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9PUqzETgiw

Mucho Loco,

Information removed at brother's request and out of respect for rest of family and their privacy-to which they are fully entitled. It was unnecessary information which was removed by me, the contributor. You, in your totally delusional state of mind, can make of it what you wish, and it will not be re-posted.

I hope you are amusing yourself and enjoying your five minutes in spotlight, because I firmly believe this is the most attention you've ever gotten anywhere.

A wise man recommended never to argue with an idiot, because he will just bring you down to his level. Mea culpa! Mea culpa!! Mea culpa!!!

I should have heeded his advice!

We have slipped from grace!
Wise men learn more from fools than fools from the wise.

Yes Yea Yea ......
You claim to be a wise man?
Only stupid questions create wealth.’ Gary Hamel
This is why you are short of nickel ( should it be dime ) or two to fly to the DR!
I once had a job as a principal design engineer for a major worldwide engineering corporation and part of my job was to review projects in progress World Wide. Gary Hamel spoke the truth.
Still fools like you do not listen to Hamel!

Mucho Loco,

Principal Design Engineer? You don't really expect us to believe that-do you?

You are not even fit to conduct inventory at local colmado.

Engineers by nature are conservative, and you are too far to the left to even be called a democrat.

You probably should endeavor to stay away from ganja....it's really affecting whatever little mind you had to begin with.

Absolutely true..... Received an number of technical awards - one product was revolutionary! I am a social democrat as I have told you a number of times before. That's how I got to know the USA so well. Now I'm into eco restaurants. Watch this space!
Your are of course incredibly stupid today - Brunel a great engineer worked on railways although the conservative elements in society were dead set against railways. But he wanted to bring transport to the masses. Conservative landowners were against railways.
Also conventional wisdom was that steamships were not possible - you could not carry enough coal.
Sewers were built in London by engineers such as Bazelgettte and their plans drew fierce criticism and much delay from the right wing of the day. The government interfering in peoples lives! Spending large amounts of taxpayers money! Sounds a bit socialist!

Glo will be telling us next that the plances were cancelled so his family could have a complete plane to themselves. Or was it that the planes were too old and broke down - this is why they will use a 777 on the route. Good when Air Dominicana starts up.......
