Puerto Plata.- The great and the good are coming out in force to ensure the north coast gets the theatre it deserves.
On 21st November, the many sponsors that have come forward to be a part of the first theatre company on the north coast will meet at a Press and Sponsors Gathering before the first performance of Wait Until Dark at the Waterside Restaurant Sosúa .
Three charity performances of this well known thriller will be staged at the Casa Marina Reef Amphitheatre November 21st, 22nd and 23rd at 7.30pm.

Asking for sponsorships in a year which has proved to be difficult all round was never going to be easy. However such is the enthusiasm by so many people in the area to bridge the cultural gap and provide new forms of entertainment that donations came from all areas.
As founder sponsors West Indies Real Estate, Guzman Ariza , Casa Linda and Ahmsa Marina made it possible for the North Coast Theatre Company to buy the much needed equipment, build the set and perform the play.
Well known restaurants such as the Waterside, Casa Veinte Uno, La Bologna offered financial support as did such notable companies as Sea Horse Ranch, Northern Coast Diving, Century 21, Coastal Gas Station, Guido Perdomo, Carib Wind Cabarete and many more individuals pleased to support a cause such as this have added to the list of Sponsors.
The play is directed by local resident Linda Love, Stage Manager – Elaine Johnston Brown, Asst. Stage Manager - Sandi Pinsonneault, Sound and Lighting Operative - Brad Melrose. Producer - Judith Fox-Hogg.
