"All sectors of the Dominican economy always require the Government’s support  in certain points, and we are providing it in the aspect related to the Tourism Ministry, such as the part of the infrastructure," Garcia said.

In the meeting, the Asonahores leaders, headed by its president Haydée Kuret, proposed additional measures to continue motoring the industry.

The Presidency’s Chief of staff Luis Manuel Bonetti said they also asked the Government to adopt fiscal measures to benefit the sector, although he didn’t specify, but pledge to disclose them.

BS. It's just an appropriation. The money will fritter away in layers and layers of 10%-ers. No pothole will get filled. It's just an election month custom, whether there is one.

And the D.R., that bastion of epidemiological science and controls has found a way to prevent the AH1N1 virus from entering the country! Will they share the secret with others? Think of the money to be made by selling their breakthrough!

I agree 100% with Pelut .. The only thing them holes will be filled with is more B.S. This is no different than the scams pulled off by those upscale timeshare bandits that sold millons of dollars of pre-constructed ocean view dream condos and fled to the hills on the back of a motoconcho with a puta and a MAMA jUANA jug . 20 years from now we''ll still be rowing guauas through tarpits and landfills between Sanchez and Las Terrenas and the same 2 Haitians will be waving thier red flags and directing the traffic .

The government traveled to Washington this past week to beg for money to pay the Electric Companies (generators), AES, EGE, etc, Came back empty handed, no moiney. No promises to fix the roads, yeah right, I'll believe it, when I see it. It would be best, if these Politicos would just say nothing, rather than making up stories like small children do.
