SANTO DOMINGO.- The Civil Aviation Board (JAC) approved 805 freight and passenger charter flights of various airlines, which operate in Dominican Republic, said the entity’s president Luis Paulino Rodriguez.

He said on September 2 the JAC approved 566 flights of the Canadian carrier Canjet Airlines and 56 charter flights of the Haitian airline Tortug Air to ply the Higüero (AILI)-Port au Prince route starting September 3.

In the September 2 session the JAC approved to debate a public hearing the request to amend American Eagle’s operating permit, in the next meeting.

I guess the reason why we just approved 805 new flights is because Tourism in DR is going wrong according to some non Dominicans on "DominicanToday"

By the way more than half of those 805 flights are from Canada and Europe and if you want proof go to Listindiario.com and it will give you in detail how many of those 805 flights are from each country.
