The visitors will be able to see that the culture of DR is a colorful tapestry of Spanish.French.and African influences woven by a rich and storied history,
The spirit and the charm of the Dominican Republic is captured in its music, food and national pastimes.
The culture of DR like its Caribean neighbours,is a blend of the European colonists,Tainos and Africans, and their cultural legacies.
African and Taino cultural elements are most prominent in food(sancocho)family structure, religion and music ( merengue Tipico.Gaga.Palo)
Many Arawak/Taino names and words are used in daily conversations and for many items endemic to te DR.
Spanish is the oficial language-but Haitian Creole,English,French,German, and Italian are also spoken to varying degrees.
Haitian Creole is spoken fluently by as many as 1.2 million Haitian nationals and Dominicans of Haitian descent.
Haitian Creole is the third most spoken language after Spanish and English.
Amazing isn't it ?

it is just a shame that those who are are always in the front line to insults Haitians and scream bajo con la migracion ilegal clam up when the subject is about Dominican culture.
There is an old Russian proverb that goes :you need to get undress to take a shower.
Or you can not keep your pregnancy a secret.
You can not deny your culture and being taken serious when you pretend to love and defend your country
